My number one rule in the class is to not make fun of anyone at all. I believe that this is important because everyone should feel comfortable in class. I also think this is important because our circumstances may be different but we all still have feelings that are the same.
Some examples are that if anyone or even myself were being talked about in a rude manner, we would be upset just as much as they would be. The feelings that we have are all the same because we all feel sadness, happiness or even pain. You could also be adding more weight onto them if they are already going through a crucial time.
This is why I believe there should be no one making fun of anyone. It might be funny at the time but it is not funny when that person is forever damaged by your words.
